TASP is a two-year Teach and Study Program. All TASP Interns learn to teach English as a foreign language while entering the Israeli school system. The Interns also learn Hebrew and study for an M.A. in teaching English to speakers of other languages at Tel Aviv University. TASP Interns also experience the satisfaction of teaching Israeli children English while developing leadership and communication skills. During this two-year program the Interns have the opportunity to significantly impact the lives of the children they teach while enriching their own lives and careers. Most important of all, the Interns live as ‘Israelis’ as they work alongside Israeli teachers on a daily basis. TASP Interns must have a B.A. degree, enjoy working with children and be capable of studying in an academically challenging M.A. degree program.
